The M Series has become the accepted standard for affordable, reliable reference and measurement microphones that are accurate in the time domain and frequency response. They are remarkably stable with respect to temperature and atmospheric conditions and are optimized for clean, very fast impulse performance providing accurate wideband response with virtually no handling noise.
Frequency Response: 3Hz to 50kHz ±1/-3dB
Polar Patern: Omnidirectional
Sensitivity: 30mV/Pa (-30.5dBV/Pa)

Earthworks cardioid microphones have patented near-perfect cardioid patterns. The sound across the entire front hemisphere is remarkably uniform and is flatter at 90 degrees than most microphones are on-axis. The SR Series have an incredible transparent sound quality, offering near-perfect polar response and high rejection of sounds at the rear of the microphone, resulting in less leakage and more gain before feedback.
Frequency Response: 30Hz – 30kHz ±2dB at 6 inches (15cm)
Polar Pattern: Cardioid or Hypercardioid
Sensitivity: 10mV/Pa (-40dBV/Pa)
Power Requirements: 48V Phantom, 10mA
Max Acoustic Input: 145dB SPL
Output: XLR (pin 2+)
Output Impedance: 100 , balanced (50 ea. pin 2 & 3)
Min Output Load: 600 between pins 2 & 3

The TELEFUNKEN Elektroakustik M82 is a new, large diaphragm dynamic microphone that borrows its look from the classic U47's body and headgrille shape. Hand-assembled in CT, USA, the M82 is a robust, end-address microphone features two EQ switches: KICK EQ and HIGH BOOST. These switches function independently of each other, which yields four unique settings. The M82's KICK EQ switch engages a passive filter that reduces some of the lower mid-range frequencies (centered around 350Hz) commonly cut when processing a kick drum. The HIGH BOOST switch tilts the upper mid-range and high frequencies (starting around 2kHz with a 6dB boost by 10kHz) to allow for extra articulation. In the flat setting (both switches off), the M82 is equally suited for vocals, guitar amps, and brass. MORE»
